Hi, I'm April!

I’ve been a photographer since the year 2000, and it’s one of my favorite things about my life, behind my family and a few other things 😉

My love for photography started in high school, but it became a passion when I started working with clients. The best part is meeting and working with incredible people and families, to be able to capture their lives in a way that no one else can.

I have a different philosophy than most photographers you’ll see – I like to take photos that match the individuals in the pictures, rather than apply a blanket “look” to every image. I like to meet you first, go grab a cup of cocoa, and get to know you a little bit so that I know what kind of images will capture who you are.

I’d love to chat with you – even if it’s just to make a new friend – but I love to talk about weddings, portraits, events, and how to capture these special moments of your life. I hope we can work together soon!
